The Founder
15 years of UX, research, and design behind the birth of Utvek.
Mutasim Billah founded Utvek in 2025 after 15+ years working across UX/UI design, project management, and behavioral research. As Design Team Lead and Product Owner at an international software development consultancy in Stockholm, Sweden, he sometimes managed up to 20 concurrent client projects across multiple teams.
He has personally tested and analyzed 150+ product prototypes on alongside designers from some of the world’s leading companies. His background in behavioral microeconomics shapes every UX and conversion decision Utvek makes.
He is also an internationally awarded portrait photographer who has worked with people across 45+ nationalities . He studied in the British national curriculum all the way until university education, and lived most of his adult life in Sweden, with younger years rooted in Dhaka. The sum is a cross-cultral mind adept in visual judgment and cultural literacy ways that can perceive businesses with more depth than the average designer.
